6. What do you mean by 'couples'?

couples... The company doesn't distinguish between same sex or heterosexual couples.

 

7. Can I get a refund if my trip is cancelled?

 

"The cancellation fee is EUR 35 if the policy is being cancelled BEFORE the commencement date.

The cancellation fee is EUR 25 if the policy is being cancelled AFTER the commencement date (but earlier than expected). The rest of the premium will be refunded.  "

 

8. Do I need to pay anything before any medical coverage or benefits begin, for example is there a deductible or co-payments? - no (page 3 of conditions)

9. Is there a maximum limit of medical coverage on this plan? no (page 3 of conditions)

10. Does this medical coverage include visits to the hospital, emergency room, visits to the doctor's office, and / or prescription drugs? Yes (page 8 of conditions)  but don't forget that this is for acute illness, so a visit to the GP for a non-acute condition isn't covered.

11. I'm mostly concerned about catastrophic coverage and am willing to look at deductible options. - This is exactly what is offered, but without deductibles (see document)

12. Can I use a policy from ihi Bupa to get a visa for Russia? (eg marriage, adoption etc)

There is a special agreement. Also, if you are travelling from a Schengen country please ask me for a special document for the visa office. Ref: info 12.11.10

 

13. Is the emergency medical centre multilingual? Yes

 

14. Is it possible to reverse the charges of the calls to the emergency centre?

 

Yes. When sending in the claim, the client should just include the expenses of the calls together will the bills.
